Harvia has concluded its change negotiations conducted in accordance with the Finnish Co-operation Act. The reason for the change negotiations lies in the Russian war operations in Ukraine, the challenging financial situation in Europe and the energy cost pressure and its impact on consumer behavior. Combined with the growing general uncertainty, Harvia considers it necessary to adjust the company’s production capacity and other personnel resources.

Based on the alternatives discussed in the change negotiations, Harvia has confirmed the reduction need to be thirteen persons. Additional adjustments can be carried out through temporary layoffs of potentially over 90 days in Harvia Finland Oy, Velha Oy and Harvia Group Oy. Currently no new temporary lay off programs have been initiated, but the working time reduction program can be restarted according to the negotiation results, if the capacity or cost situation requires it.

The change negotiations concerned approximately 210 persons in Finland. Harvia Group employs approximately 700 persons in total.
