News | 2 July 2020
Harvia is in the annual European Small and Mid-Cap Awards finals in the Star of 2020 category. The 8 th edition of the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards will take place in November 2020 during the European Commission’s SME Week in Berlin. This is a joint initiative of the European Commission, EuropeanIssuers and Federation of European Securities (FESE).

The SME Awards recognises some of the most successful stock listed companies in Europe. The aim is to promote best practices and highlight the best European companies that have gained access to capital markets via an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Harvia Plc listed on Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange in March 2018. The successful IPO supported Harvia’s growth and internationalization in the sauna and spa market.

Harvia reached the finals for the second time. In 2019 Harvia was recognised as a runner-up in the International Star category and was now recognised as one of the most outstanding companies within the Star of 2020 category with three other companies.

All this year’s listed companies were announced in the end of June in SME Awards’ press release that is available at: http://www.europeanissuers.eu/docs/view/5ef9fefb0546e-en. More information about the awards is available at: http://europeansmallandmidcapawards.eu/.
